This 9Ltr / 16 Pint / 2 Gallon Barrel is suitable for most Home Brewing requirements and features a carry handle and bottom tap.

Supplied complete with a 2" vent cap to allow excess pressure to escape safely.

If I need to add CO2 to this barrel what would I need?
The beer or cider will carbonate naturally in the barrel as it conditions. If you require extra CO2 to be added we have a pack which contains a cap with a brass valve fitted, CO2 Bulbs and a Bulb Holder. The cap is a straight swap for the vent cap supplied and allows the use of disposable CO2 Bulbs to add extra carbonation.

Can larger refillable cylinders be used?
It is increasingly difficult to refill the old style cylinders as they are being phased out. The preferred method now is to use Disposable CO2 Bulbs which are convenient and readily available.
